Commercial Roll Roofing Products

Roll roofing has three main types to choose from in the industry today, including single-ply PVC, single-ply rubberized material and two-ply EPDM membranes. Each has their own individual advantages and disadvantages when it comes to overall performance and long term maintenance requirements for continued warranty claims on the project. Generally speaking however, roll roofing products are very simple to install without having to worry about flashing factors (as described below). In addition, they also offer excellent protection against high winds and they can be added to an overhead patio design without significantly altering the existing structure.

 How is roll roofing made?

Roll roofing is made from heat-welded PVC or rubberized material and attached onto a strong support deck of wood planks that are overlaid in full courses per panel — with panels overlapping each other across the patio, sealed together tightly around all edges where required by local building codes. It comes available in either single-ply or two-ply varieties — with standard sizes measuring 12 feet wide by 25 feet long (although custom sizes are also available). Single ply roll roofing is typically only half an inch thick, while the thicker two ply type consists of separate pieces welded on top of one another for a total thickness of 1 ¾ inches.

Roll roofing is often the choice for contractors because of its low-cost option for commercial flat roofing maintenance. Although it offers limited wind uplift resistance, it can be used to cover a wide area and is ideal for project needs with open air designs that require some type of overhead design element — as well as an affordable alternative to roll-on systems.

Disadvantages of Commercial Roll Roofing Material

One disadvantage with this material however, is that it doesn't provide much in the way of thermal insulation over large spans — due to its lack of depth and layering found in other commercial flat roofs (such as EPDM). For this reason, roll roofing often isn't used on larger projects unless extra measures are taken into consideration when laying out the individual panels during construction. It is also prone to punctures and tears more easily than other flat roofing products, making it necessary for project managers to plan well in advance of the installation schedule for adequate protection against wind damage and other natural elements that could affect the protective factors required overtop an open air patio space.

Roll Roofing is a versatile product for commercial, industrial and agricultural applications. It combines the beauty of a roof with benefits that no other roofing material can provide when it comes to durability, cost savings, ease of installation and versatility

Advantages of Roll Roofing Commercial Roofing Material

It is easy to work with because it does not require tools to install like other materials do! This means you will be able to work in both warm and cold weather without the need for special tools. When used with corrugated profile roofing, Roll Roofing provides a smooth surface that is very attractive.

The combination of corrugated profile and Roll Roofing provides an ideal solution for any commercial or agricultural application. Since these profiles are installed first, the black side is facing down and visible on all ends of the building. This allows you to use any color underlayment such as tan, blue, grey etc. You can even purchase pre-colored material!

like other types of flat roofs. It does not require another support deck underneath unlike other products do which makes itself so versatile. The Roll Roofing panels are overlaid in full courses per panel and secured with Fast-Grip's unique crimp technology that takes the place of traditional fasteners. This process is faster, neater and easier than using other types of fastening methods.

Roll Roofing products provide outstanding fire resistance, non-flammability, durability and weather resistance while standing up to industrial chemicals and environments for a wide range of applications. It provides protection from ultraviolet radiation (UV) which helps slow fading and extends the life of your roof material! UV rays can cause premature aging on other materials such as oxidation or cracks and lead them to become brittle which makes them more susceptible to injury or breakage.

No matter what commercial application you are looking for, Roll Roofing provides you with the best possible solution.
